The Aboriginal community of Maningrida is located on the Liverpool River estuary, approximately 400 kilometres via sealed and unsealed roads from Darwin. The town is situated roughly in the centre of coastal Arnhem Land and houses a remarkably talented group of people who produce some of the finest Aboriginal paintings and crafts in Australia.
